These Terms of Use govern the use of the studio’s websites, inquiries for information, quotations and services, and any engagement with the studio regarding scanning, printing, image processing, production, finishing and related services.

Use of the website, submission of details, request for a quotation, delivery of files or ordering of services from the studio constitutes acceptance of these Terms of Use.

These Terms are written in the masculine form for convenience only, but apply equally to all genders.

Purpose of the Website

The website is intended to provide information about the studio’s services, including fine art scanning, scanning of original artworks, file processing, print preparation, fine art printing, Fine Art prints, production of limited editions, printing on paper, canvas, acrylic, metal and additional materials, UV printing, laser cutting, binding, artist books, framing, canvas stretching, packaging, shipping and additional custom services.

The website does not operate as an online store and does not allow direct online purchase of products. Any inquiry through the website is intended for receiving information, obtaining a quotation, coordinating a project or placing a custom order with the studio.

The information on the website is intended to present the studio’s areas of activity, services, professional capabilities and available options, and does not constitute a commitment to any price, availability, timeline, final result or full suitability for any specific project, unless otherwise agreed in writing with the studio.

Services Provided by the Studio

The studio provides, among other things, the following services:

Scanning of artworks, scanning of documents, archives and original materials, image processing, color correction, print file preparation, high-quality fine art printing, limited edition prints, printing on fine art papers, printing on canvas, printing on acrylic, printing on metal and additional materials, UV printing, laser cutting, framing, canvas stretching, finishing, binding, artist books, boxes, packaging, shipping, and production of special projects for artists, galleries, museums, institutions, collections and private clients.

The studio may add, change, update or discontinue certain services from time to time, at its professional and business discretion.

Custom Work

Most services provided by the studio are custom-made, based on a file, original artwork, size, material, technique, client instructions, project requirements, quotation or individual coordination.

Accordingly, each project will be reviewed according to its professional characteristics, including the type of material, the condition of the file or original artwork, production complexity, quantity, size, required finishing level, timelines, packaging and shipping requirements, and any other relevant factor.

Any quotation, time estimate or information provided to the client is based on the details provided to the studio at the time of the quotation. If it becomes clear that the details are incomplete, inaccurate or have changed, the studio may update the price, timeline or method of execution.

Client Responsibility for Files, Texts, Dimensions and Instructions

The client is responsible for ensuring that all files, images, texts, names, captions, dimensions, quantities, materials, cutting instructions, printing instructions, framing instructions and any other instructions provided to the studio are correct, complete, accurate and approved before work begins.

Errors in files, spelling mistakes, errors in names, errors in dimensions, texts that have not been proofread, incorrect images, files of unsuitable quality, inaccurate instructions or any other detail provided by the client are the sole responsibility of the client.

The client is responsible for reviewing and approving any sketch, mockup, file, quotation, work specification, dimension, text or detail sent for approval. Client approval, including approval in writing, by email, WhatsApp or any other communication method, will be considered approval to begin work according to the approved details.

After work has begun, any change to the file, dimension, text, quantity, material, finish or any other detail may involve an additional charge and an extension of the timeline, at the studio’s discretion.

Copyrights and Usage Permissions

Before performing any printing, scanning, reproduction, processing, production, cutting, binding, framing or any other action relating to images, texts, designs, artworks or materials provided to the studio, the client will be required to sign a declaration stating that all copyrights, usage rights, printing rights, reproduction rights, distribution rights and required permissions relating to all materials provided to the studio are held by the client or have been lawfully granted to the client.

The client declares that he is the owner of the rights or holds appropriate permission to use any artwork, image, photograph, text, design, file, trademark, logo or other material provided to the studio for the purpose of performing the work.

The studio is not responsible for checking, verifying or investigating the intellectual property status of materials provided by the client. Full responsibility for obtaining any permission, license, approval or usage right rests solely with the client.

The client undertakes to indemnify the studio for any claim, demand, lawsuit, damage, expense or liability incurred by the studio as a result of the use of materials provided by the client without appropriate permission or in violation of third-party rights.

The studio may refuse to perform work if, at its discretion, there is concern of copyright infringement, violation of law, improper use, harm to a third party, or any other professional, ethical or legal impediment.

Colors, Screens and Artist Proofs

The client acknowledges that there may be differences between colors appearing on a computer screen, phone, tablet or any other digital display and the colors in the printed or physical result.

Such differences may result, among other things, from the type of screen, screen calibration, lighting conditions, type of paper, type of material, color profiles, printing method, finishing layers, type of ink, the nature of the scanned original and viewing conditions.

For works requiring high color accuracy, the studio may recommend a test print, Artist Proof, color test or other preliminary check. If the client approves production without such a test print, this will be at the client’s responsibility.

Reasonable differences between screen display and printed or physical output shall not be considered a defect in the work or a breach of the studio’s obligations.

Reasonable Deviations in Dimensions, Cutting and Finishing

In printing, scanning, cutting, stretching, mounting, binding, framing, laser cutting, UV printing, packaging, shipping and other manual or technical finishing processes, reasonable deviations may occur in dimensions, color, placement, cutting, texture, finish or final appearance.

Such reasonable deviations shall not be considered a defect in the product or service and shall not entitle the client to cancellation, refund or reproduction, unless otherwise determined by the studio at its professional discretion.

Quotations, Work Approval and Payment

Work will enter production or professional handling only after approval of a quotation, order approval or other approval by the client, as determined between the parties.

The studio is not obligated to begin work before receiving such approval, and is not obligated to maintain any quotation, price, availability or timeline beyond the validity period stated in the quotation, if stated.

For certain projects, especially large, special, urgent, complex or costly projects, the studio may request an advance payment as a condition for beginning the work.

The studio may condition delivery of work, shipment of work, continued handling, production of files or performance of additional services on settlement of payment, at its discretion.

Prices provided do not include VAT, unless expressly stated otherwise.

Cancellations, Changes and Returns

The studio provides custom services and custom-made works only, and does not sell shelf products through the website.

Therefore, after approval of a quotation, delivery of files, commencement of work, scanning, processing, printing, cutting, binding, framing, ordering of materials, preparation of work or any other professional action, returns or cancellations will not be possible, except at the studio’s sole discretion.

A request to change a project after work has begun will be reviewed by the studio according to the stage of the work, the technical possibility of making the change, costs already incurred and the timeline. Such a change may involve an additional charge.

In the case of a material defect caused under the studio’s responsibility, the studio may, at its discretion, repair the work, reproduce it, offer a credit or provide another solution appropriate to the circumstances.

Pickup and Shipping

The client may collect works from the studio by prior coordination and during business hours.

The studio offers shipping within Israel and international shipping, depending on the nature of the work, shipping destination, type of packaging, shipping costs and individual coordination with the client.

Shipping, packaging, insurance, customs, taxes, fees or other related costs, if applicable, shall be borne by the client unless otherwise agreed in writing.

The studio is not responsible for delays, damage, loss or faults caused by a shipping company, postal service, airline, customs authority, security authority, governmental authority or any other external party beyond the studio’s control.

Storage of Files and Digital Materials

Files, images and materials provided to the studio remain the property of the client or their respective rights holders.

The studio may store files for the long term for the purpose of continued service, repeat orders, internal documentation, work management and service improvement, but does not undertake to store, back up, archive or restore any files.

The client is responsible for keeping an original copy and backup of every file, image or material provided to the studio.

In the event of loss, deletion, malfunction, damage, technical failure, hardware failure, software failure, storage system failure or inability to locate a file previously stored, the client shall have no claim, demand or lawsuit against the studio.

At the client’s request, the studio will delete files belonging to the client, to the extent possible and subject to technical, operational, documentation, accounting or legal limitations.

Use of Client Details and Management Systems

Contacting the studio, receiving a quotation, placing an order or working with the studio constitutes consent for the client’s details, contact information, order details, documents, invoices, correspondence, work status, files and additional operational data to be stored in the studio’s management systems.

These systems may include, among other things, an order management system, CRM, Operating Layer system, email systems, WhatsApp systems, invoicing systems, file storage systems and additional operational tools used for managing work and service.

The studio may contact the client by telephone, WhatsApp, email, SMS or any other communication method for the purpose of handling an inquiry, providing a quotation, managing an order, sending an invoice, updating work status, coordinating pickup, coordinating shipping, customer service or any operational matter related to the work.

Privacy

The studio respects the privacy of its clients and acts to protect information provided to it as part of the use of the website, contact with the studio and ordering of services.

The information collected may include name, telephone number, email address, shipping address, company or institution details, order details, correspondence, files, documents, invoices, service data and additional information required for providing the service.
